Cameron Payne to Anadolu Efes

Andolu Efes signs Cameron Payne right away after Mike James Achilles injury. Mike James during the game with Crvena Zvezda suffered an injury after he tried to get a lost ball rebound, then he collapsed in the floor holding the lower part of his right leg. Mike James had a surgery on his Achilles tendon and now he is predicted to play in 7-9 months.

Very sad news about the American guard as he was moving good with his performance on the start of the season averaging 15 points, 4 assists and 2.3 rebounds.

Efes didn’t let that slide signing a former NBA star named Cameron Payne. Cameron Payne played for several NBA teams such as the Phoenix Suns and the Philadelphia Clippers. Also last year he played for Partizan, playing for 10 games averaging 3.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 12.4 points, and 23.4 minutes per game. Cameron Payne is 32 years old and he has a height of 1.91 m. The replacement of Mike James for the season is pretty good but is Cameron ready or even at Mike James’s level? Let’s find out.
